Randy Stodola needs help.

Hello, Friends of Randy!

Just wanted to pop in and give you all an update.
The current tally of Randy’s injuries from Tuesday night’s assault:
8 fractured ribs
1 punctured & partially collapsed lung
1 adrenal hematoma
Countless bruises and scrapes

CT of his head was clear, so that brilliant noggin will continue to contribute art to our lives. Unfortunately, he won’t be holding a guitar or singing for a while….

Randy really appreciates everyone’s love and kind thoughts. He feels bad that he hasn’t really been able to take calls or respond to texts, but please know that he does appreciate every message. Each of you has contributed to his surprisingly chipper mood in the face of so much pain and discomfort.

He’s here at home and resting a lot, so no visitors any time soon – maybe next weekend or so – and he’s still avoiding the phone because it pretty much hurts for him to do anything.
If anyone might be available to help with errands or rides to doctor appointments, please let me or Apryl know. We have everything covered for now, but just in case.

Randy is not asking for anything, but I have come up with a short wishlist:

-Loungewear. he doesn’t really have pajamas or comfy “I’m stuck in bed” clothes. Apryl brought him some jammie pants the other night, but I think he needs a couple more sets.
-Used iPad/Tablet. Eventually Randy will go stir-crazy being on bed-rest. I feel like he needs some entertainment and a tablet would be perfect, something that won’t overheat when he loses it in the bedsheets. He can use it for Facebook and maybe some music apps or something. I say “used” because, as many of you may know, Randy is ROUGH on technology.
-Phone. Speaking of technology, I need to get Randy a new phone. He does best with flip-phones because he sits on them, drops them, gets cookie crumbs in them, etc…. We are on AT&T.
-Otherwise, I just need to make sure his bills get paid, he has food in the house, prescriptions filled, etc…. I’m managing his finances for now and created a PayPal account for him.
